Requirements

How to apply

Firstly, the admission application should be completed online. There are no application fees to apply at RPS.

Once the Admissions Office receives your completed application, they will inform you regarding the availability of seats.

As soon as the Admissions Office is able to proceed with your application, they will invite your child to take an assessment test, either online, if residing abroad or at the Admissions Office. For an administration fee of AED 500, this test will assess your child’s English and Mathematics skills.

Based on the test results and information from previous school reports, the Admissions Office will notify you about the success of your application.

Documents required:

– 2 copies of the applicant’s valid passport
– 2 copies of the applicant’s valid UAE residency visa
– 1 copy of the applicant’s birth certificate (in English or Arabic) – 2 copies of the applicant’s Emirates ID card (both sides)
– 1 copy of the applicant’s school reports of the last two years
– 1 copy of the applicant’s immunisation record
– 4 passport-sized photographs of the applicant

Original Transfer Certificate from previous school (for Year 2 and upwards, if enrolling at the start of the academic year. Also required for FS1, FS2 and Year 1, if joining after November 15.)

The aforementioned documents are only required when your child is invited for the assessment test.

Additional costs:

  • School uniform including team kits and other necessary sporting attire or auxiliary items;
  • Text books and stationery;
  • Educational and field trips that may be organized from time to time may incur additional costs which will be intimated on a case by case basis. Fees payable for such trips will be payable separately to all other fees;
  • Voluntary excursions or sports tournaments in which costs are incurred;
  • External examinations;
  • Meals;
  • Transportation;
  • Other activities for which costs accrue to the school;
  • Insurance – it is suggested that parents maintain health, accident and liability cover for their children;
  • Some of the above items are available from independent suppliers and subject to their Terms and Conditions for refund.
